A tall, narrow panel where live-edge olive wood slabs run diagonally through banks of preserved moss, all held in a slim matte black frame. The wood cuts across the green like a riverbank, and because the composition is vertical it fits the walls most art cannot a hallway, the strip between two windows, the space beside a doorway, a narrow entryway.
The moss is preserved, not living. It is real moss that has been stabilised, so it holds its colour and its soft, springy texture for years indoors without water, soil or light. We layer several tones together bright spring green, deep forest, soft olive so the surface has depth rather than reading as one flat block of colour. The olive wood is cut and finished by hand, sanded through four grits and oiled so the dark grain ribbons and the natural bark edge stay visible against the green.
There is nothing to maintain. No watering, no misting, no feeding, no light requirement, no dropped leaves. The panel mounts on a hidden cleat and hangs flush against the wall in minutes.
It works in an entryway or hallway, a living room, a bedroom, a home office where you want something alive on camera, and in windowless meeting rooms, clinic waiting areas and spa corridors where real plants will not survive.
