Two bands of deep green preserved moss set between live-edge olive wood slabs, held inside a slim black metal ring. It is a wall clock, but the first thing anyone notices is the green — a piece of forest floor framed and hung on the wall, with the time almost hidden inside it.
The moss is preserved, not living. It is real moss that has been stabilised, so it keeps its colour and its soft texture for years indoors with no water, no soil and no light. There is nothing to feed, nothing to spray and nothing to replace. The olive wood is cut and finished by hand sanded through four grits, then oiled so the dark grain ribbons and natural bark edge stay visible against the moss.
Inside is a high-torque silent sweep movement, so there is no ticking in a bedroom or a home office at night. It runs on one AA battery, reachable from the back, and hangs from a single hook.
It suits a living room, a home office that needs something alive on camera, an entryway, a bedroom, and windowless meeting rooms or clinic waiting areas where real plants will not survive. In hotels, spas and restaurants it does the same job as a small green wall, at a fraction of the space.
